1. Why are the bowls and mats made of silicone?
Silicone is a food grade and non-toxic material. It is durable, odor and stain resistant, hypoallergenic, flexible, non-slip and quiet. It can also withstand extreme temperatures without degrading or leaching any chemicals. Also, it’s pretty and comes in a variety of custom colors!   
                                                                     
2. How do I clean the products/are they dishwasher safe?
Silicone is technically dishwasher safe. However, we recommend hand washing your bowls and mats with warm water and soap. We have found that certain dishwasher soaps can leave a white, powdery residue on the bowls and mats.   
                       
3. Are the bowls microwave safe?
Yes, the bowls are microwave safe. 
 
4. How much food/water can the bowls hold?
The small bowls can hold 1 cup of food or water and the large bowls can hold up to 4 cups of food or water.
                                                                                   
5. Will you be launching more products or more colors? 
Yes, absolutely! Join our email list for updates on new colors and products that we will be launching soon.
 
6. How do I know what size to order?
We recommend the small bowl for cats and small dogs under 30 lbs. We
recommend the large bowl for medium to XXL dogs.
 
7. Where do you ship?
We currently ship anywhere in the continental United States. At this time, we do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska or internationally, but please join our email list for updates as this may change.
 
8. How much is shipping?
All orders will receive the option of standard or economy shipping rates/times. All orders over $55 will receive free shipping at economy shipping speed.
 
9. When will my order ship?
In-stock items are typically processed within 1-2 business days, but please note
that orders placed on a Friday may not ship until Monday.
 
10. Do you ship to PO boxes?
No, we do not ship to PO boxes.
 
11. What is your return policy?
We do offer free returns. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and unopened in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, contact us at troughpets@gmail.com and we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions at troughpets@gmail.com.
 
12. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit card payments via Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express as well as debit cards. We also accept payments via PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
 
13. When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged during order processing, typically within 1-2 business days.
 
14. How do I check the status of my order?
You will receive an email with tracking information when your item has shipped.
